Stream from Virgin Media

Stream from Virgin Media: Virgin Media broadband required (min. 50 Mbps). Not available with other Virgin Media TV services. Compatible with Hub 3 and above. Stream box requires an HDMI cable connected to TV. HD TV set and a Stream box connected with HDMI cables required for viewing HD channels. Number of inclusive HD channels depends on package. 4K compatible TV/device required to watch Ultra HD. Stream box and remote remain property of Virgin Media.

There is no charge for the Stream service, but a one-off £35 Stream activation fee applies, along with charges & terms for each Stream subscription. Some Stream subscriptions require 30 days’ notice to cancel. New Virgin Media broadband customers subject to 18 month contract and set up fees may apply, see here.

Payment: If you pay by any other means than Direct Debit, you may be charged a payment handling fee, made payable to Virgin Media Payments Ltd. You may choose to receive a paper bill instead. If you choose a paper bill, we may charge you an additional amount for this service, which we will tell you about when you request the change.

Entertainment subscriptions: When you add a subscription to Stream, you’ll get access to the content immediately, which means you’ll lose your 14-day right to cancel once you’ve purchased the subscription.

Different subscription may have different cancellation periods. These will be set out in the terms and conditions, but please read your subscription terms carefully.

The channels and features available with your chosen subscription are subject to change. The price of your subscriptions may also change at any time during your contract. You will be notified of any price increases if and when they happen, and we will try to do this at least 30 days in advance of the change.

Netflix: From £6.99 a month. Stream customers new to Netflix can benefit from Stream discount. Stream discount requires you to add a Netflix subscription to your Virgin Media bill and pay by Direct Debit. Members of households with an existing or recent Netflix membership may not be eligible for the Stream discount.

Your Netflix subscription allows you to access content on the Netflix app. Netflix may change subscription plans and the price of the service from time to time; however, any price changes or changes to Netflix subscription plans will apply no earlier than 30 days following notice to you. You can cancel your Netflix membership at any time and will continue to have access to the Netflix service through the end of your billing period. To cancel, go to your My Virgin Media account.

Disney+: £7.99 a month. To use Disney+, you’ll need a Disney+ account and you must accept the Disney+ T&Cs. Disney+ is an independent data controller of the personal data of Disney+ subscribers.

Sky Sports and Cinema HD: £46.25 a month. Can be cancelled at any time by providing 30 days’ notice. Sky Sports and Cinema HD channels come as standard. Channel line-ups are subject to change. Service usually upgraded within 48 hours, but in case of exceptional demand may take up to 5 working days. Only available to view in the UK.

Essential Entertainment: £12.00 per month. Can be cancelled at any time by giving 30 days’ notice. Channel line-ups are subject to change.

Kids Pick: £4.00 per month. Can be cancelled at any time by giving 30 days’ notice. Channel line-ups are subject to change.

STARZPLAY: £5.99 a month. Subscription is non-refundable and must be kept for at least 30 days but can then be cancelled on 30 days' notice at any time. Cancellation will go into effect at the end of your subscription period. Channel line-ups are subject to change.

HD: HD TV sets, V HD Box, TiVo box, Virgin TV V6 box or Virgin TV 360 box connected with HDMI cables required for HD channels. Number of inclusive HD channels depends on package.

Ultra HD: Requires a Stream box, and 4K compatible TV to watch in Ultra HD.
